A Singapore homegrown brand, Cowhead has gained recognition across the South East Asia region. The milk is made from 100% natural fresh cow’s milk, imported from New Zealand and Australia.

With a range of diverse products and price promotions, the dairy sector in Singapore faces stiff competition. Brands are constantly vying for attention, introducing new product developments, and launching marketing campaigns to capture consumers’ interests.

In such a competitive market, Cowhead realized that they needed to engage with their customers and gain their trust while giving them a reason to choose Cowhead over its competitors.

The only way to achieve that was to leverage social media and that’s when they reached out to us at Brew Interactive.

Solution

When we started working with Cowhead in 2010, they did not exist on social media. They largely relied on traditional marketing channels. So, we needed to build their social media presence from scratch.

After having discussions with the team and understanding more about their industry, business, and target customer, we laid out a social media plan in line with their business objectives.

The idea was to use the platform to strike a connection with consumers, remain top of mind, increase loyalty, and gain trust. Keeping their brand and target audience in mind, we identified Facebook as the most suited platform.

Our content strategy was centered around sharing informative and engaging posts to generate interest and boost engagement. Apart from posting about their products, we also shared interesting recipes, customer reviews, and fun quizzes.
