Client Testimonial

“Before engaging Brew Interactive, our social media community had a wide audience of more than 80K fans but there was very little engagement. The community wasn’t very active in commenting or sharing our content back then. And in addition, our social media activities generated us very little leads.

We heard of Brew Interactive later on through a recommendation, and they were known for creating contagious content and most importantly, delivering measurable results. After we engaged them, the results were amazing! The content on our social properties became much more viral, people were asking questions and sharing our content. Our engagement rate increased by over 300% and that helped to decrease our cost-per-lead acquisition to 50%. Very impressed with the results!

Headquartered in France, they have a presence in 133 countries worldwide and are well known for their 3D design, product lifecycle management (PLM), and 3D digital mock-up software among others.

Challenge

Challenge

In spite of being a well-known brand and having exceptional products, Dassault Systèmes were in a spot of bother. Their sub-brand, SOLIDWORKS, was facing a lot of competition from their toughest adversary, AutoCAD, which had been eating up a lot of their market share.

They realized that the only way to combat this was to build more awareness and engagement among their target audience. And of course, going social and digital was the most cost-effective way to do so.

At the time, they had about 80,000 followers across all of their social channels. However, they were struggling to build engagement among this community. And because their content failed to generate adequate excitement among their social media followers, they weren’t able to get too many leads from their social media marketing efforts as well.

It was then that they realized that they needed an experienced partner who could give their social media strategy a facelift. That’s when they decided to reach out to us at Brew Interactive.

Solution

In order to help the SOLIDWORKS brand rise above their competition and get more leads, we realized that we needed to create ongoing content-based, creative moments to excite their community as well as make their brand more relevant to their audience.

While they had a strong content creation team, they needed some insights into the type of content that would perform the best among their target audience. Our team conducted extensive competitor and industry analysis and made some useful recommendations to spruce up the content on their Facebook and Instagram pages. We also facilitated multiple collaborative sessions between our team and theirs in order to brainstorm ideas for content that would drive the most engagement on their social channels.

Here are some examples of posts that performed exceptionally well on their Facebook and Instagram pages:

We found that illustration posts perform really well on Instagram and so posts such as this were used to engage the audience and also to build anticipation and excitement around their upcoming CAD tutorial live streams on YouTube.

Sharing informative blog posts on social channels is a great way to engage people and strike up a conversation around your products. Blog posts that answer some of the most common questions related to product design proved to be very engaging and useful to the audience.

We realized that product simulation videos are very useful and appealing to product designers and engineers. So, we suggested the client post such videos on their social channels to help drive traffic to their website as well as to stir up a conversation about their products online.

Results

As a result of our efforts, SOLIDWORKS quickly gained a large number of new social media followers. In addition, their posts were now receiving a number of comments and shares. We were also able to drive more participants to their webinars through social media, thus helping them to generate additional leads.

We helped to grow their social media presence (on Facebook and Instagram) by over 500,000 new followers across APAC.

The engagement rate jumped by 300%.

Due to a surge in the number of leads acquired from social media, their cost per lead decreased by 50%.
