Our campaign with Duolac started with us localizing their target audience. Duolac has had success around the world, but if we were to implement an effective campaign, we needed a crystal clear understanding of their target audience in Singapore – their demographics, pain points, buying considerations, and more.
Creative & Educational Social Media Campaigns
Stomach problems are no stranger to most people, but it’s not the most popular thing to talk about. We decided to break through the stigma and run some creative campaigns focused on common stomach issues and how probiotics (specifically Duolac’s) help. One successful campaign was titled, “Let’s talk about poop.”
Parents are a big part of Duolac’s audience. We aim to educate on common gastro problems seen in children and how probiotics help.
Not only do we educate Duolac’s audience, but regularly remind them of the features and benefits of Duolac products.
Highly Targeted Facebook and Google Ads
While we were growing Duolac’s social media presence and building brand awareness, we supplemented their growth with Facebook and Google Ads targeting those likely to be looking for gastro remedies. These ads focused on education and pushing discounts to encourage a customer’s first purchase.
SEO to Increase Visibility on Lazada
While some of Duolac’s target audience isn’t aware of their need for probiotics – many are already searching for them. To take advantage of this segment, we optimized Duolac’s Lazada store and products to improve visibility.
Lazada Ads to Drive Sales
In addition to product SEO on Lazada, we also ran targeted Lazada ads to quickly drive sales. We were confident that first time buyers would soon be repeat customers for Duolac.
