However, organizations still needed to maintain business continuity, local governments needed to keep their communities functioning, schools needed to continue educating students, and above all, we needed to stay social and connected.
And one of the most creative and super-efficient solutions that rose to the top amidst this global health crisis was Zoom’s video conferencing. In fact, Zoom’s daily users increased from 10 million in December 2019 to 200 million in March 2020 according to their official reports.
For organizations, in particular, Zoom Rooms offered a super creative, collaborative solution that integrated audio and video conferencing, sharing documents, and whiteboarding. To make it more accessible, Zoom quickly teamed up with hardware providers like DTEN to offer Zoom Rooms hardware as a service to enterprises at a budget-friendly rate.
Owing to its success and popularity, IDEAL Systems decided to introduce the DTEN product in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, for which they needed to get new leads. The alternative was to simply rely on their own existing set of customers. However, that meant that they would have a very limited scope of generating revenue from this product.
But this wasn’t an easy task to accomplish on their own. IDEAL Systems realized that they would need an experienced partner to help them generate the kind of results they were looking for. Someone with a proven track record and tons of expertise in helping businesses with successful product launches and generate a solid ROI.

The Solutions
1. Define Audience Personas
The very first thing we needed to do was to understand IDEAL System’s buyer journey and define their audience personas. This would help us identify the audience we should reach out to.
Using effective probing techniques, we conducted a series of interviews to find out detailed information about their buyers’ motivation, needs, and decision-making process. Based on them, we created profiles of their ideal customers with complete information about their demographics, firmographics, psychographics, and a lot more.
We also identified negative buyer personas – the type of audience we should specifically omit when defining our target set.
2. Design a Compelling Offer
The next thing we needed to do was to come up with a compelling offer that IDEAL’s potential customers would find hard to resist.
Up until then, they were using an offer or CTA that encouraged website visitors to speak with a technical consultant. We felt that it simply wasn’t attractive enough and failed to communicate the value proposition.
The key to generating quality leads in large numbers is to have a great offer. So, we designed one for them that included free installation and training on the product as well as a 30-day free trial.
3. Build the Perfect Landing Page
Of course, we needed a great landing page for this new offer. And so, we built a visually appealing and informative landing page that communicated the value proposition of DTEN brilliantly. We optimized the content with the right keywords and included effective CTAs throughout the page.
4. Run Ads Using Our Wealth of Data
Finally, we ran a number of catchy search and display ads promoting the offer that helped them get their message across to their target audience. But here’s the catch.
A typical marketing agency requires anywhere from two weeks to a month for A/B testing to gather data that’s statistically significant enough to help you decide whether test A or B can give you the results you want.
