The People’s Action Party (PAP) is a political party in Singapore. It was founded in 1954 by Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.

The party’s mission is to build a fair and just society where the benefits of progress are spread widely to all. Its emphasis on multi-racialism and equality brought peace, progress, and prosperity to Singapore within a span of fifty years.



Social media is an integral part of marketing strategies across industries so why should politics be left behind?

After having using traditional forms of communication for years, PAP realized they needed to build and strengthen their presence on social media. They wanted to leverage the medium to create greater engagement with their audience.


Brew Interactive was brought on board to conduct an audit of PAP’s existing social media strategy and guide them on how they can improve it with an objective to drive greater engagement.

We did a thorough analysis of their content mix and organized them into categories, enabling us to identify trends. We also did a quantitative analysis of the posts to understand how their posts were being received by the audience.

No audit is complete without competitive benchmarking and so we evaluated their competitors’ social media pages to assess what they were doing differently and what was working for them.

On the basis of our findings, we chalked out action points for their marketing team to improve their social media strategy, create relevant campaigns and enhance their content, helping them drive more engagement and grow their social media presence.


Our data-backed strategy proved to be successful, helping PAP achieve a sharp increase in its social media engagement rate.
