SingPost has a courier arm, Speedpost. While this service is used for delivery of documents, parcels and freight within Singapore and overseas, SingPost recently widened this service to offer eCommerce solutions too.
They wanted to promote Speedpost among eCommerce merchants, encouraging them to use this service for their logistics and freight requirements.
As the next step, they wanted to also appeal to the merchants selling on one of the biggest non-Alibaba owned eCommerce platforms, Qoo10. In order to get access to those merchants, they would manually browse every product page and take note of the merchants’ email addresses.
This turned out to be a lengthy and taxing process robbing the marketing team of quality time and resources.
They realized they needed a smarter lead generation approach and that’s when Brew Interactive was approached.
We were brought on board to strategize on a more tactful lead generation process that would be more time-saving.
After having assessed their existing situation and pain points, we created an email bot that would scrape the email addresses of the eCommerce merchants. These addresses would then be exported to an excel sheet that would be used by the marketing team to offer them their services.
